Who we are
EANGUS Area II represents the enlisted associations of the National Guard from Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia, as well as our Title 10 National Guard members serving across the nation.
Together, these associations form one of seven regional areas within the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) — a non-profit organization founded in 1972 to give enlisted National Guard Soldiers and Airmen a unified voice at the national level.
Area II serves as the bridge between the national organization and its member states, fostering collaboration, communication, and professional development to advance the mission of the Guard and enhance the quality of life for our members and their families.

To promote the status, welfare, and professionalism of the enlisted members of the National Guard by supporting legislation, programs, and initiatives that improve readiness and ensure a strong national defense.
Area II furthers this mission by connecting our member states, empowering enlisted leaders, and promoting unity of purpose across the region.

What we do
EANGUS Area II connects the state associations of our region to promote communication, coordination, and shared goals.
We:

Host an annual Area II Mid-Winter Conference to discuss association initiatives, legislative priorities, resolutions, and member development.

Support EANGUS committees and working groups by representing Area II perspectives and priorities.

Provide leadership guidance, resources, and training opportunities to our state associations.

Strengthen the professional network between enlisted leaders and our civilian and military partners.
